GSS Geothermal is proud to work with the University of Alberta engineering co-op program to provide job placement opportunities to student engineers. Student Engineers are intergrated into the daily activities of GSS Geothermal and gain valuable work experience. Students help with heat loss calculations, equipment sizing and installation of ground source heat pumps.
Students who come to work at GSS Geothermal finish their work term with increased knowledge about the geothermal field, and the ability to design a geothermal system for residental application. Additionally, students have opportunities to research, design and test integrated systems and unique application systems.
With alternative energy research, development and application becoming an important part of modern life, student engineers who complete a work term with GSS Geothermal gain valuable experience which will help them obtain employment after graduation
